Brazil
The world leader in coffee production and a great place for coffee processing
We have been producing experimental lots in Brazil since 2021 and have witnessed how local coffee, especially in the specialty segment, has undergone a tremendous journey of change. We found ourselves at the heart of these processes thanks to our friendship and collaboration with our partner Flavio Reis at his farm, Rancho Grande, in the state of Minas Gerais.
Brazilian coffee is associated with a classic flavor profile dominated by nuts and chocolate. But in recent years, more and more experimental lots have been appearing with fruity, alcoholic, and even floral notes. And all this coffee can be produced in large volumes thanks to the high level of production and its automation. The combination of these factors makes Brazil a unique origin for us.
In addition to our large-scale work at Rancho Grande, we also collaborate with small farms. We buy 5-10 bags of green coffee of different varieties from them to experiment with new flavor profiles.
